 About the Organisation

Queensland Foster and Kinship Care Inc. (QFKC) is a registered and charitable non-government organisation and is recognised as the peak body representing all foster and kinship carers throughout Queensland. The organisation is run by a volunteer committee of current and former carers who oversee operations and employ professional staff to assist in providing advice, support, and advocacy to foster and kinship carers.  

 About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for a full time Recruitment and Exit Coordinator to join our small team of professionals. This full-time position will coordinate QFKC’s recruitment and exit program which will include but will not be limited to, providing accurate and timely information to potential foster and kinship carers, gathering information from exiting carers, engagement in recruitment activity and facilitation of carer training. 

 We require you to have relevant knowledge of family-based care, child protection, co-ordination and leadership of programs, flexible communication as well as other duties as outlined in the Position Description. 

Tertiary qualifications in the Human Services field and/or equivalent experience are essential and additionally you will be required to be in possession of a positive notice Blue Card.

 Salary: $93,148.00 + salary sacrifice opportunities + 9-day fortnight
